how does it work?

Grappling, also known as submission grappling or submission wrestling, is a combat sport that focuses on ground fighting and submission techniques.

These techniques include various upper and lower body joint locks, and choke/strangle holds.

Grappling is a hybrid discipline that incorporates elements of different grappling styles such as various types of wrestling, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

It is practiced both as a competitive sport, and as a training method for mixed martial arts (MMA).
